Guldmann GTP1 Manual Transfer Platform

The Guldmann GTP1 is a manual, mobile transfer platform built to simplify everyday moving and handling tasks for standing, semi-independent individuals who maintain some leg strength but require balance support. Functioning as a non-electric, mechanical rehabilitation and mobility tool, it encourages users to actively participate in their own transfers to help train balance and rebuild core muscle function. The platform requires an exceptionally small footprint and is engineered to rotate tightly around its own axis, allowing caregivers to seamlessly navigate narrow residential hallways and restricted bathroom wet rooms without physical back strain.

Key Features:

  • Active Mobilization and Rehabilitation: Empowers semi-independent individuals to utilize their own muscle groups during short standing transfers, supporting physical therapy goals.

  • Ultra-Low Entry Plate: Built with an entry height of just 1.25 inches, making it exceptionally easy for individuals to lift and place their feet safely onto the non-slip platform surface.

  • Close-Quarters Positioning: Specifically contoured to position tightly against standard wheelchairs, beds, toilets, and shower commodes to minimize the physical transfer gap.

  • Tool-Less Breakdown and Transport: Designed for effortless deployment across multiple care settings; the lightweight upper frame and bottom base split apart quickly for transport in standard vehicles.

  • Ergonomic Comfort Padding: Outfitted with a height-adjustable lower leg support pad that cradles the shins comfortably to ensure a stable, upright posture during movement.
