Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

All Harding Medical locations have taken prevention measures to minimize the health risks to employees and customers.

Effective Thursday March 19, 2020, all Harding Medical and CAN-med locations will be closed to the public indefinitely.

Customers will be able to place orders for emergency requests through our web site at or by phone by calling their respective closest location.

Anyone requesting emergency service will be questioned about symptoms before service is provided.

Our technical staff will continue to provide emergency service under strict guidelines.

  • Product will be sanitized before any work is done on equipment in the home;
  • Customers will be asked to respect social distancing;
  • Product being brought into the home will be sanitized before delivery;
  • Product returning to the shop will be sanitized before loading into the service vehicle.

We have identified critical staff that will continue to support business at our locations. All other staff are working from home.

In our locations we have implemented social distancing measures. Travel and meetings have been cancelled. Surfaces in the work space are being disinfected.

Personal Protection products, sterilization products and sanitizers are provided to employees.

Employees are applying hygiene practices as prescribed by the health authorities.

All employees that have travelled out of the country within the last two weeks are in self-isolation for two weeks.

Senior management have set up a dedicated committee that regularly meets to assess the level of risk associated with COVID-19 and make sure the appropriate procedures have been implemented and communicated to employees and customers.
